I've spent 20 years in the car business, starting as a salesperson in 2006. Since then, I've worked as an Internet Sales Manager, Finance Manager, Finance Director, Used Car Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager. For the last five years, I've been the General Manager of a Ford dealership.
I'm responsible for the entire operation. New and used car sales, finance, service, parts, staffing, profitability, customer complaints, and just about every problem that makes its way through the building.
If you've ever wondered how much money a dealer actually makes on a car, how your trade in gets valued, what really happens when you negotiate, why finance managers push certain products, or what happens when a customer demands to speak to the GM, here's your chance to ask.
I'm also happy to answer questions about service department pricing, warranty claims, dealership pay plans, or what it takes to move up in the industry.
I'm not here to sell cars or promote my store.
