I host Civic Parenting, a podcast from the National Constitution Center. AMA about engaging your children in the midterm elections, the midterm and raising citizens in a constitutional democracy.

Hi I’m Julie Silverbrook, chief content and learning officer of the National Constitution Center—America's leading museum and national platform for constitutional education and dialogue—and host of the Civic Parenting podcast.

In my role at the Center, I oversee the creation of public-facing constitutional content to ensure our programs, scholarly engagement, and educational resources work together to serve students, educators, families, and lifelong learners across the country. My podcast, Civic Parenting, explores how families can build the habits of self-government at home that keep our constitutional democracy strong.

The midterm elections are coming up soon and I’m here to share practical advice for families with children of all ages - from introducing young kids to elections and making voting a family experience to helping first-time voters navigate registration paperwork, find their polling places, and prepare to cast their ballots.

Ask me anything about engaging your children in the midterm elections midterms and raising citizens in a constitutional democracy.

Note: The National Constitution Center is a non-partisan organization. We do not endorse nor comment on any candidates or party platform.

I will be answering live Thursday, October 29th, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET. Feel free to start asking questions now!
