| On Friday evening, I sent a memorandum to the Connecticut Office of the Probate Court Administrator to end involuntary electroshock treatment. Beginning Monday morning, any individual facing a probate court hearing in Connecticut for forced shock must be granted religious exemption per C.G.S. Chapter 319i Sec. 17a-543(i). Yes, believe it or not, Connecticut state law explicitly allows for the intervention of unwanted psychiatric treatment through a minister's prayer - and if anyone finds that another state (or country) has a similar law, please let me know!
