Hey everyone,
I've been trading as a retail trader for around seven years now. I'd like to make one thing clear right from the start:
My goal here is not to show “how much money you can make,” but to provide insights into the everyday life, challenges, and reality of trading.
In these seven years, I've experienced just about everything:
- I've crashed my accounts multiple times until I understood my mistakes.
- Tested various strategies from day trading and swing trading to algorithmic trading.
- Experienced psychological highs and lows (overtrading, revenge trading, pressure from losses).
- And learned what processes and routines are really needed to not only survive, but to remain profitable in the long term.
- Independent thinking
If you have any questions about:
- Strategies and methods (not as financial advice, but how to approach them) [I will only be able to reveal a minimal fraction of my trading methods, if any]
- Psychology and mindset, mistakes you should avoid.
- Algorithms, institutional investors
- Price sellers and all the scams
- Methods for learning (books, for example)
- Time invested, money invested, how long it took to become profitable, etc.
- Or simply what everyday life as a retail trader really looks like, because social media paints a completely false picture (primarily of the everyday life of day traders) – then ask me anything.
Disclaimer: I am not a hedge fund manager/institutional trader, nor am I a “crypto guru,” but rather a retail trader who has been trading on the markets with my own money for more than half a decade and has gained experience that cannot be found in any book.
I am now involved in all categories, including swing, algo, and day trading. Trading has been my passion for seven years, and I am happy to be able to give you some insights and look forward to your questions!
